Chinese BaZi Fortune Telling System

"BaZi" (Eight Characters) refers to the year, month, day, and hour of a person's birth. Each is represented by two "characters" (one Heavenly Stem and one Earthly Branch). 4 time points × 2 characters = 8 characters, hence the name "BaZi."

For example:

A person born on August 15, 1992 at 9:00 AM might have the BaZi: Ren Shen, Wu Shen, Ji Si, Ding Si (These four pairs correspond to: Year Pillar, Month Pillar, Day Pillar, Hour Pillar respectively)
